What is TryMyKitchen?

TryMyKitchen is an online market place enabling users to find and book Cooking Classes. Customers can book Cooking Classes for themselves or as a gift, and we feature classes held in Cookery Schools, Chef's Homes or even the student's home.

What type of classes can I find on TryMyKitchen?

We feature all types of classes from Baking to Sushi rolling. Our cuisines are very varied and give users the opportunity to expand their culinary knowledge significantly. We also offer cooking classes based on diet types such as Vegetarian and Vegan classes. 

How do I find the right class for me?

You can search for our classes by either choosing the type of class you would like to attend or by selecting your preferred location from our homepage. Once you have made your selection, you can further filter results by using our extensive filtering functionality. 

How do I book a cooking class?

TryMyKitchen enables you to purchase cooking classes in 2 ways. You can either, book a class for a specific time, or buy an eVoucher for yourself or as a gift. Simply find the cooking class you wish to purchase, and once you have made your payment, you will receive an instant email confirmation with all the details you need to attend your class. 

If you are purchasing a cooking class as a gift, you can include a free gift message for the recipient, and you can choose which day they receive their gift email via our check-out page. The recipient of the gift will be sent all the information they need to enjoy their class. 

I tried to log in to TryMyKitchen via Facebook and do not remember my login details. What do I do?

Visit your Facebook account to retrieve your login information.

I forgot my password. What do I do?

Just click on the "forgot password" link on the sign-up screen. Type the email address you use to sign in to your account, and we'll send you a new password right away.

How do I cancel my booking?

We understand that sometimes a booking needs to be cancelled. You can do so by simply emailing Our cancellation policy is set by our suppliers. Charges are subject to the below cancellation policy:

- For classes taking place at a school. You will have a full refund if given 30 days’ notice from the class start date.

- For classes taking place at a chef’s house. You will have a full refund if given 2 days’ notice from the class start date.

- For classes taking place at your own home. You will have a full refund if given 7 days’ notice from the class start date.

The above 3 cancellation terms are worst case scenarios. Many classes operate more lenient cancellation terms. If you are unsure, please visit the class profile page or drop us a quick email at

In all cases, bookings may be transferred to another person at no additional cost (e.g. you may find a friend to replace you). Should a host cancel a class, TryMyKitchen will refund in full those who have purchased tickets prior to its cancellation. TryMyKitchen reserves the right to charge a host who cancels an event with any costs it incurs in the processing of the cancellation.

What do I do if a school/ chef asks me for more money than what I paid on the site?

Schools/Chefs should not be requesting any additional payments from customers. We collect full payment for classes on their behalf, and their monies are paid to them according to the terms of our partnership. If a school/chef asks you for an amount beyond what was written both on the offering page and in your confirmation, please contact our team using the contact us form, and we will help you resolve the situation. 

If I buy two vouchers, can I attend at the same time as my friend?

Of course! When you receive your vouchers you will be provided with contact information for the host - an email address or link to make a booking on their website. Let the host know you will be attending together and if booking via their website, remember to book two places on the class. 

Why can't I purchase vouchers or tickets for a class listed on TryMyKitchen?

Some classes outside of London are listed on the site but are not yet available to book directly with TryMyKitchen. TryMyKitchen is expanding rapidly to the rest of the UK. Please bear with us during this period. In the meantime, you can book directly with the cooking school via the link provided on their class listing page.

I have a TMK gift-card, can I split it between orders?

Gift-cards can be redeemed only once and only within a single order. Gift-cards are valid for 1 year after purchase.
