An experience that was born of our passion for the Portuguese cheese making tradition.
Start your day with a visit to a family-owned traditional cheese factory, where you will learn about the regional cheese-making process and taste high-quality local cheese and other dairy produce made here!
In the Porto Area and North (Gerês), you will also make butter with unpasteurized milk so you can learn all the steps. This way you can also taste the difference between these products bought at the supermarket and those made the traditional way. Because unpasteurized milk is difficult to find we will also teach you how to make butter and cottage cheese with pasteurized milk from the supermarket.
This experience can be combined with others, in the same area and even include lunch at local restaurant.
