An experience that brings you into contact with one of the most important products of traditional cuisine, Portuguese bread, base of typical Portuguese food and sometimes the only food of the very poorest families.
The activity includes, in some regions, a visit to a working mill. We’ll then participate in every step of bread making, from kneading to baking and of course tasting!
It’s also possible taking advantage of the rural environment in which the activity is inserted.
We have several proposals, where you can learn how to make and participate in the production, followed by tasting the variety of bread produced. Choose yours by Region.
This experience can be combined with others, in the same area and includes a lunch in a local restaurant.
The Experience includes:
- Visit to the producer;
- Product Explanation and brief cultural framework;
- Participation in the production;
- Tasting of the bread produced, accompanied by other local products;
