We will take you through step-by step how to make each dish, before you get cooking it yourself, making your lunch in the morning and take home the dishes you make in the afternoon! We provide the ingredients, equipment, aprons and packaging, all you need to do is turn up and enjoy yourself!
We will also cover how to stretch the £'s you spend on food (leaving more money to be spent at the Student Union), cooking in bulk (cook more, wash up less often), as well as a bit about feeding your brain with the good nutritious stuff to help you get the good marks on your assignments!
Dishes being cooked up include: Tomato and basil pasta sauce, mac and cheese, breaded chicken, meatballs, ham and leek pie, simple curry, shepherds pie, sesame noodle stir fry, to name a few! You will also learn how to joint a chicken and use the pieces to make some super tasty dishes!
Thursday 8th Sept and Friday 9th Sept. 10am-3pm.
